Yoshi is an 8-month old lab/retriever mix who had a dislocated hip. The vet attempted to re-connect the leg into the socket and he wore a sling and cone for almost two weeks to keep his leg immobile. The surgical re-check was done nine days later, but the x-ray showed the leg didn’t stay in place.
Yoshi needed FHO surgery(Femoral Head Ostectomy) to fix his hip. The Sergei Foundation was able to pay for this surgery so that Yoshi could live a comfortable and long life!
