Shadow – Helped September 2012

Shadow was hiding under the bed, not eating, and had bloody stools. The owner is fully blind and on disability – her caregiver contacted us to see if we could help. Since the dog is older and wasn’t vomiting, it wasn’t thought to be Parvo, so The Sergei Foundation paid for the exam and blood test as a diagnostic as the dog was in danger of dehydration if he continued not to drink. Shadow had severe HGE (hemmorhagic gastroenteritis). Thankfully, the owner could cover the treatment costs as we were able to cover the diagnostics, and Shadow came out of the danger zone 🙂
