Sasha is a six month old husky to had to make a trip to the emergency vet one weekend because she got into some garbage. She was howling and whining all afternoon in discomfort – we heard her in the background while talking to the owner.
Not knowing what she got into, Xrays were taken. She had the equivalent of an ashtray of cigarettes in her belly! The vet tried to induce vomiting, but she didn’t expel any of the cigarettes while at the vet, but most likely would at home. Sasha left with medicine to help her through. Given Sasha’s owner lives in Forsyth County, this is another pet that Fur Ever Friends shared costs with The Sergei Foundation.
