Pumba – Helped June 2016

Pumba is so happy to be home after 9 days at the vet! He had a urinary tract blockage which was cleared and then was being treated for UTI disease. We were contacted after he was already in the vet for a week. We authorized IV fluids (to help clear the crystals and blood from the urine) and anti-inflammatory meds specifically for pets. He went home on Saturday to see how he would do; hopefully being at home will alleviate stress and help get him in his recovery. As of today, the owner says he’s doing great 🙂 Royal Canin SO Rx food was prescribed to manage the condition – this is so important, no straying allowed! Not even treats (Sorry, Pumba!). pH levels need to be maintained or it will likely reoccur.
