Meet “Little Bit,” a 7 year old Beagle who we helped. The owner has had her since she was 4 wks old; the mom and other pups were abbandoned and the mom died, so she had to be bottle fed. Little Bit’s hip was disloacated as well at that time and wasnt able to be fixed.
When Little Bit became pregnant, she would have not been able to birth the puppies. The option was to do a spay, but with her so far along in the pregnancy, the owner opted to pay the difference to include the C-section and save the pups. We’re glad she did 🙂 Aren’t they cute? And of course, this mommy dog is now spayed so she won’t be in this situation again.
