Lady here fractured her front, right leg – just above her “wrist.”  It’s a difficult break to fix in itself, but because of funding, the leg wasn’t “set” properly. Although the leg was splinted for six weeks by a vet, it was thought to need amputation. The original vet could not schedule surgery for a month, so we used one of our vet partners to have this procedure done. The good news is, when this vet took x-rays, the bones had already started to heal/re-grow! Amputation was avoided. We assisted with the X-rays and splinting.
