Jake – Helped August 2013

This is Jake. He is a 2-year-old, part Persian cat. The owner let him out of the porch for a bit and he was attacked by a dog. Jake had a broken femur and hip and was about to undergo surgery to fix, but an overnight stay confirmed he really did not have feeling in his toes. Nerve damage required a leg amputation. Both Jake and 82 year old owner are happy to be reunited as euthanization was avoided with The Sergei Foundation’s help!
