This is Indiana, or “Indy.” He is 12-year old Dachshund. The owner had extensive foot surgery and was confined to a wheelchair when she accidentally tipped over and fell on poor Indy!
The Sergei Foundation was able to pay for an exam and X-ray to find he has a broken pelvis. They think that 8-weeks of confinement may heal the injury, although one leg is not responding very well at this time. Time will tell to see if surgery is needed. Let’s hope for the best!
