This is Genevieve, her mom took her to the ER vet today because a family dog had lashed out and broken her jaw. She has an 11am appointment tomorrow with Dr. Hedrick to examine and review the x-rays. We hope he can perform the required upper jaw surgery (a more difficult procedure than a lower jaw) within our grant range. We will know more tomorrow after her exam at 11am. She has been reported as eating soft food, which is a good sign.
Update 3/2/16: Genevieve is home! Instead of major repair surgery, the vet was able to sedate her and align her jaw more properly so it could heal on its own – a good chance since she is just 7 months old. This picture is from her owner saying she is eating well and has lots of energy! Just that she looks a little like a comic book character.
