Doodles was found at 8 weeks old under some leaves with his eye out of socket by a 3-year-old girl. The family adopted him immediately, but needed help with the surgical costs for the eye enucleation (removal). Surgery had risk with his young age. He came out of surgery okay, but was in critical condition the following day with hypothermia. Warm heating pads, constant care by vet staff, and hand feeding raised his temperature to 98 degrees so he could go home for further care. Hopefully, with the love of his “little mommy,” he will heal quickly.
