Coco – Helped March 2016

This is Coco being wheeled into surgery last Friday. This 10-year old girl could not walk; both of her hind legs were affected by a ruptured disc, impairing the neurological function for her brain to communicate with her legs. We are proud to have partnered some with The Mosby Foundation in Virginia on this case. Collaboration is sometimes the only way to receive enough aid to help in these very expensive procedures to give some pets a fighting chance at life! Coco is still in the hospital and is able to support herself on her front legs with the assistance of hospital staff supporting her rear legs with a harness. She also improved on her “nerve pinching” test… good signs for a slow, but positive recovery.
