Buttercup – Helped Sept. 2017

What a face! Does that say “good to be home” or what?!? We helped Buttercup with ICU expenses this weekend from what appeared to be ingestion of a toxic substance. She was having seuzures, panting heavily, and had muscle tremors. Her calcium and blood pressure dropped dangerously low. Kept in 24/7 care for a couple of days, Buttercup was able to come home last night. The vet is still worried about her blood pressure, and the owner has to keep careful watch on her until she can schedule a a check up during the week. Here’s hoping that’s what it was and that there is no permanent damage from the toxin.
