Angel – Helped July 2013

Thoughts and prayers to little angel here who crossed the rainbow bridge this morning, July 9. She must have gotten into some rancid meat outside as she had severe bleeding out of the intestines that onset VERY quickly, just at 6pm last night. In right at 8am this morning, the vet could not get an IV in for fluids nor get her temperature up (it was at 95, when a dog’s normal temperature is 101-102.It’s thought to be salmonella/botchalism (parvo test came back negative so did the test for food poisoning). It all happened so quickly that the owner, of course, is having a very hard time dealing with this… please keep Kim as well as Angel in your prayers. This is a grave way to remind everyone to please keep your dogs inside or contained at all times in a fence if possible – dangers abound all around for our little creatures.
