Sophie – Helped Oct. 2016

We’re able to help Sophie get this horrible mass with necrotic tissue off her this morning. After removed, it weighed in at 1.7 pounds! Xrays showed no further tumors in her chest, so there’s a good chance it’s not cancer. But at this stage, with so much bacteria, MERSA was a concern. Thank you to Walkertown Veterinary Hospital to change their surgery schedules to accommodate her today. The photos shows her “before” as her happy, fluffy self, and then the mass that now has to be removed.
