This is Miles before surgery today. He is holding his left paw up as a bad cut, that had been treated, progressed into necrosis (dead tissues/no blood supply). We helped him to get a leg amputation and it went very well! He is staying overnight as he is on lots of pain meds initially… the second picture is the “after” with him still resting. He is a service dog for a PTSD owner. A client of the vet who referred him to us made a wonderful donation for his case as she overhead the conversation. What a wonderful surprise and a blessing for us and Miles!
