Luna – Helped Sept. 2015

We are not sure yet if this will be a success story or not… poor Luna jumped from someone’s arms and broke both legs on the ground. Miniature breeds like this are so fragile!  We helped her get Xrays, but the diagnosis is that she needs plates for both legs as it is very unlikely they will heal on their own. This is beyond the level of assistance of our organization so we are unsure of yet what the owner will opt to do.  We are hoping maybe they can get on leg done and we can apply our grant balance to that, but it is such an expensive surgery that they owner may not have funds even with our assistance.  Praying!
