Lucky – Helped Nov. 2017

We used the last of our discretionary funds this year (meaning, to use on life-threatening illness that don’t fit our ER parameters because they are preventable) for Lucky.  She was lucky indeed! She had pyometra. This deadly virus occurs when female dogs are not spayed; it’s an infection in the uterus that must be treated quickly and with surgery or the pet will not survive. We are happy to have provided $200 towards this life-saving procedure!!
