Leah – Helped Dec. 2016

Meet Leah! The Sergei Foundation helped pay for her emergency hip surgery last night (FHO). We were told video showed it was a police car hit her and didn’t stop. The dog was off-leash, so law dictates it’s not the officer’s fault. (But one would hope the human compassion factor would have kicked in some?) So happy we can help this lovely German Shepherd get well and spread some compassion, especially this time of year. We haven’t heard the results of the surgery, but will share as soon as we do.
