Christoph – Helped Feb. 2016

Meet Christoph! This 2.5 year old kitty had a urinary blockage… this is a life-threating condition, especially seen in male cats. Their bladder can burst in as little as 12-24 hours. Thankfully, we assisted with funding awarded to us from Banfield Foundation. The vet was able to use a catheter, successfully clearing the blockage. He is still being monitored at the vet’s office but hopefully will be able to go home tomorrow. (Please pass it on to cat owners – if a cat is not urinating, do not wait to get him/her to a vet. It is indeed a potential life-threatening situation and needs immediate attention.)
