Diablo – Helped October 2012

Diablo was newly rescued from a humane society, supposedly with a good bill of health. The same week, he started urinating blood. The new owner took him to the vet for xrays and an exam to find out he had a bladder stone the size of a baseball which needed surgery or risk cutting off the flow of urine; a deadly situation. The owner’s husband recently went on disability and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The humane society refused to help and offered to take the dog back, but they told the new owner she would not be allowed to get Diablo back! The Sergei Foundation was able to keep Diablo and his new family together by contributing to the surgery.
