Jethro – Helped November 2014

Jethro ate a rope toy  and it extended throughout the intestines/colon.  We don’t know how long it was in there, but at the time of surgery the small intestines were all black, with no blood supply, and were ruptured in three places! It was a 50/50 chance (if that?) of survival and it was touch and go to see if the intestines started to function again.  The good news is, blood supply start to flow through the blood vessels again once all removed.  After a week, Jethro was able to go home after much healing and his strong will to live.  Wow, way to beat the odds Jethro!  See the video of his release to his “mom” here!
