Maggie – Helped April 2013

This yellow lab, Maggie, is a senior dog at age 12. She now has a neurological condition in which she has lost muscle tone and fat on her head and face. It causes her skin to droop down and really is not a threat to her health other the effect it has had on her eyes. The fat behind her eye lids was affected to the point the lower eye lids are turning into to eyes. This is a condition called entropion. It can cause blindness or loss of the eyes. This is definitely a quality of life issue, and The Sergei Foundation was happy to contribute to the surgery!
