Parvo survivor! We do not help fund Parvo unless a vet determines all of the parvo vaccinations were given in proper sequence, as this is part of our “pet parenting” qualification. Franklin actually did have parvo vaccinations through the animal shelter they adopted him from up until 4 months old. But when the new owners took him for their follow-up vet visit, it was not on record that they knew about or declined a booster, so The Sergei Foundation could help with treatment.
Franklin, now 10 months old, was in bad shape… it was unclear if he was going to pull through. In fact, as of Feb. 1st he is still in the vet’s office but he has started to hold food down and is in a positive recovery status as this time.
