Hazel – Helped June 2017

Hazel is doing much better today. We helped her with a vet exam last week as symptoms seemed like parvo or whipworm – both deadly if not treated. She was whipworm positive, which is preventable so we can’t help with treatment, but we did assist with fluids because she was in such dire condition. Reports from the owner today is that she is back to her old self 🙂 Preventative care (heartworm medicine) is SO important! It protects againts deadly worms and should be a monthly practice.
