Gracie was admitted for ER surgery thinking there was a linear foreign body (from Xrays). Dr. Travis from River Road Veterinary Hospital discovered it was very bad intussusception; this is when a segment of intestine invaginates into the adjoining intestinal lumen, causing bowel obstruction! It was a long surgery, but Gracie is doing well.
