Oldtown Veterinary Hospital is a full service small animal hospital that has been serving the Winston-Salem area since 1966.  We have a proven track record of compassionate, extraordinary medical care with many long-term, multi-generational client relationships.

Our  doctors work together very closely.  You may consult with one doctor, but behind the scenes, you are getting the benefit of the knowledge and experience of the whole team for your pet's diagnosis and treatment.

Veterinary hospitals are not all equipped at the same level.  We have invested in the best possible diagnostic and treatment tools which means that  in most cases, we do not have to refer you elsewhere because we have what we need on site for immediate diagnosis and treatment. This is not only better for your pet's health, but also avoids the inconvenience and extra expense for you of a trip to another vet.

You might be surprised to learn that accreditation  is not required for veterinary hospitals.  The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits veterinary hospitals in the United States.  There are more than 40 veterinarians in the Winston-Salem area.  We are one of only six that have earned AAHA Accreditation.
