Winston – Helped Aug. 2018

Winston was a very sick boy! His urethra was blocked, which is deadly if not corrected very quickly. We helped with the costs for a catheter to unblock, fluids and hospital stay (as he pulled out the catheter a couple of times). He went home yesterday! Hopefully the new Rx food and other suggestions will keep him “open” so he does not need Perineal Urethrostomy surgery.

Sadie – Helped Aug. 2018

Instead of writing this blog description ourselves, I want to copy the Facebook post from Winston Veterinary Hospital. It says it all 🙂 “We would like to give a huge Thank you to The Sergei Foundation, Inc. and Oldtown Veterinary Hospital for pitching in to help save Sadie’s life! Divot – Helped Aug. 2018

#happytales for Divot! We helped him with a vet visit to Abri Animal Hospital for a urinary tract infection and possible blockage. The good news is after the bladder was drained the night before, he seemed to be going on his own, so medicines should do the trick (hopefully) going forward. Or, he may need to come back to catheter. But his sister-sibling is so happy to see...

Skylow – Helped Aug. 2018

We helped Skylow here with some daily bandage changes on all paws after the owner had already paid for surgery resulting from being dragged for a bit by a car. This may sound like intentional cruelty, but the owner is a senior who did not notice at first that she had jumped out of the window while on a leash. The good news is she is doing so well! Thank you Creekside Animal Clinic for your excellent...

Jackson – Helped July 2018

We helped Jackson here with X-rays and to catheter his urethra as he was fully blocked by a bladder stone. He still will need bladder stone surgery, but we were able to help get him out of a critical situation. Thank you, Dr. Smith with VCA Timberlyne Animal Hospital for reviewing the Xrays for us for a second opinion!
