Our first pet assisted in 2019 is Poppa! Poppa was playing in his backyard when a branch popped up from being stepped on and impaled his chest. Thankfully, the surgery went well with no complications. Drainage tube will come out on Monday.

Meet Halo. This 8-month-old kitty ran out of the house, spooked from a crowded holiday party. She climbed a chain link fence to a shed. Halo broke her leg either on the way up or when jumping down – right at the knee area and growth plate. She is safe, however, and The Sergei Foundation paid for the orthopedic surgery today! She went home this evening, and the veterinarian said the procedure went well. Your angels were sure looking after you, Halo, to get you home safe and taken care of!

Layla had cancer in her nose. We helped with Xrays to help diagnose the issue as she had face swelling and was not able to eat. The owner decided to say goodbye, Layla was not really going to get any better. Our deepest sympathies, Catharine.
