Scooter was attacked by a neighborhood dog. He had a tear in the abdomen that needed surgery. The Sergei Foundation was happy to assist, and also spear-headed reaching out to fellow collaborating organizations to partner on this case. Happy to report that Scooter is doing well!

Kujo was hit by a car and needed jaw surgery. The owner had taken care of that but had exhausted all funds for proper follow up care (Xrays, staple removal). We were happy to assist with this as not doing so could negate the progress made on the first surgery if it was not taken care of in a timely manner. All went well! Happy healing, Kujo.

Lulu – Helped Dec. 2019

We did our best and got Lulu into the vet the very same day the owner applied, but the situation had waited too long. She had a rectal prolapse, and was external a few inches. The first surgery to stitch it did not hold (result of other parasites, etc.).  Unfortunately, she was in too poor of condition to survive further surgery. Our hearts go out to Lulu’s family.
