Boo Boo was in pain with every breath. After a vet visit that was inconclusive and their decline of our assistance for their client, we directed Boo to River Road Animal Hospital who took him in immediately! Prognosis is not good with a diagnosis of lung cancer, but his owner is so happy he is out of pain and on medicine to help prolong his life. We helped Shi Shi here with some blood work at Ard-Vista Animal Hospital. She keeps having seizures, and although there is nothing that can be done right now on that, the bloodwork helped to know there was not anything else causing them and to adjust medication.

Lily here is still in the hospital. We are helping her with IV fluids, a catheter and medicines as she is very anemic.  Hopefully she will be able to go home today!

Chachi’s owner took her to the vet and it was inconclusive on that Friday what was wrong, but that Monday she was in severe danger with full onset of pyometra virus.  We are happy to have assisted to have her uterus removed and she recovered well! (Please pet owners; spaying can save your pet’s life, not just reduce pet population).

The Sergei Foundation is unable to fund for most tumor removals from our ER fund as we are not set up to assist with cancer. However, we can (and did) donate $100 from our general veterinary fund to help Sage here get one removed; non-cancerous, we are told. Yay Sage!
