Colonel – Helped Jan. 2018

Please keep Colonel in your prayers! We didn’t really know how severe his bladder stones were from the owner’s application until we got him to the vet today. Complete urethra blockage! His regular vet has been closed for the snow for the last two days, so Ard-Vista Animal Hospital came to the rescue for us. They were able to flush the stones back into the bladder. Hopefully, with fluids and antibiotics, he will be strong enough to recover from the extended trauma for bladder surgery tomorrow. We are partnering also with The Mosby Foundation on this as expenses for ER care with...

Sadie – Helped Jan. 2018

Sadie here was approved through our General Vet fund to be seen for skin irritation. The owner had no transportation, so we referred him to one of our veterinary partners, Ard-Vista Animal Hospital who was very close to him to walk or uber. They took EXTRAORDINARY care of him and Sadie, and left with some medicine to help her get well.

Gen. Patton – Helped Jan. 2018

General Patton here is exactly why The Sergei Foundation was founded! His owner, an Army veteran, went to an ER vet for what was diagnosed by them as a GI obstruction. She was moments away from having to euthanize because she couldn’t afford surgery when her regular vet called us to see if we could help. We literally caught her in the exam room, at the 11th hour, and Patton is home now recovering.Thank you to Oldtown Veterinary Hospital for taking this case on an emergency basis for us and removing the sock he ate. The next few days are still critical for healing in such cases, so heal...

Diesel – Helped Dec. 2017

Our hearts go out to the mom and kids who loved on little Diesel. He was only 15 months old. He ate a sock and was given bad advice by the vet staff (not the veterinarian) to “wait it out, it will pass!” A month later her had ER surgery to remove. We did not assist with that, but we paid for overnight watch at an ER vet and he was released the next day. Unfortunately, he continued to have issues back at the vet who did the surgery, so we rushed him to get an ultrasound at another hopsital and found that sepsis had set in. Rest in peace, sweet Diesel. We are happy to have been...
