Rasputin came inside limping and meowing all night! We helped with Xrays, which showed a fractured tail (needs to heal on its own), wound care and medicine so he can feel better as he heals.

Lolita – Helped April 2018

Lolita has had a UTI on and off for almost a year and it wasn’t correcting with medicine and other veterinary care. She starting bleeding when she urinated and Xrays showed a very large bladder stone. We are happy to have helped Lolita with surgery to remove it!

Sassy Mae – Helped April 2018

We helped Sassie Mae get surgery for multiple bladder stones. She was not doing well, as this had been going on for awhile and has at least 30 stones according to Xrays! (She passed 2 big stones). Sassy was in critical condition when we were able to help her with one of our veterinary partners, Abri Vet in Winston-Salem, NC.

Beast – Helped April 2018

Beast here went in to the vet as he hadn’t defecated (or been eating) for a days. He was diagnosed with an intestinal blockage, but they could not do the surgery because of scheduling. The Sergei Foundation used its network of vets to refer him to surgery that day! In deed, there was a block and part of the intestines were necrotic and had to be removed. Thank you, Oakes Animal Hospital for stepping in/up to save this guy!  He went home yesterday and seems to be doing very well.
