Please keep Colonel in your prayers! We didn’t really know how severe his bladder stones were from the owner’s application until we got him to the vet today. Complete urethra blockage! His regular vet has been closed for the snow for the last two days, so Ard-Vista Animal Hospital came to the rescue for us. They were able to flush the stones back into the bladder. Hopefully, with fluids and antibiotics, he will be strong enough to recover from the extended trauma for bladder surgery tomorrow. We are helping Aja here with surgery this morning to remove her gallbladder. She is 13-years young, but still has at least 5 lives left 🙂 Praying the surgery goes well and she recovers okay!

Sadie here was approved through our General Vet fund to be seen for skin irritation. The owner had no transportation, so we referred him to one of our veterinary partners, Ard-Vista Animal Hospital who was very close to him to walk or uber. They took EXTRAORDINARY care of him and Sadie, and left with some medicine to help her get well.

General Patton here is exactly why The Sergei Foundation was founded! His owner, an Army veteran, went to an ER vet for what was diagnosed by them as a GI obstruction. She was moments away from having to euthanize because she couldn’t afford surgery when her regular vet called us to see if we could help.
