Persia’s uterus burst as a result of a deadly infection, pyometra. Thankfully, she was already at the vet about to go into surgery, so she was able to recover from that emergency! We are happy to have assisted some with that expense, but we waited a few days to post about her recovery as she had to stay in the hospital a few days afterwards. Remember, spay your pets; It saves lives in more ways than one!

Amadeus, a Great Pyrenees, hurt his leg. We assisteed to get him some Xrays. Appears to be a soft tissue injury, but may be tick born related – the owner is awaiting results. Feel better soon!

THIS is what rope toys can do if they are ingested. Share so that others know to pick up toys unless playtime can be supervised. The first picture is him going home with his owner on Saturday after we assisted with ER surgery. The second picture is what was removed from Kola’s intestines. He isn’t out of the woods yet, as the vet had to surgically remove and suture 6 areas of his colon/intestines. Time will tell. Please share and maybe you will save a pet’s life.
