5-month old Hunter here jumped out of his owner’s arms and broke four metacarpal bones (between the fingers and wrist). Youth is on his side, allowing for weekly splint changes to align and hold the bones so they may heal vs a very tricky, specialty surgery. Zeus here was hit by a car and in terrible pain! The staff at Creekside Veterinary Hospital contacted us immediately to see if we could help, as the owners originally had to take him home without treatment because they could not afford it.Thanks to Banfield Foundation we were able to help Zeus later that day with diagnostic Xrays and medicines. Glad you’re feeling better, Leto! We helped him about a week ago with our General Veterinary fund, and here is his beautiful picture! A note from hims owner after he woke up from anesthesia: “Leto was groggy and not himself last night due to the meds; but I slept with him and babied him. Hehe He is a ball of energy this morning! They said the tooth was really abscessed. Broke my heart to know he was in pain.”

Remington had an unusual condition, probably present from birth, where the penis cannot retract into the skin or sheeth. For three years the dog owner had been doing her best to keep the area protected from elements but it got to be critically painful. The Sergei Foundation paid for a surgery called Preputial advancement to raise the skin over the exposed area.
