This little 10-month old kitten, Junior, is in surgery as I write this. He swallowed some tinsel from the Christmas tree (and maybe something else?) a couple of days ago. There is definitely a blockage and surgery was needed asap. Please keep this lil’ guy in your prayers that it will be successful. When the owner found out we approved the entire surgery so she wouldn’t have to put him down or watch him pass, she started to cry with joy. … and our last post for today is to meet Scooter. He is also 7-years-old and was bit by another household dog in the snout. He has a broken jaw. He should be in surgery tonight and the vet has a good outlook for recovery. His jaw will be wired and he will need several follow-up visits but we hope he will make a full recovery.

…and this is Symphony. She is 7 years old and has floating patellas on BOTH of her knees making it very painful and almost impossible to walk. Eventually she would not be able to walk at all. We were able to get her Xrays and now we can also assist with surgery to get one knee cap in place. She is on pain medication now as surgery will not be scheduled until later this month.

We have had a busy week! Meet Embry… she is just an 8-month old kitten that had a broken leg. She just received surgery over the weekend to pin her leg, and she is currently back home with her family recovering nicely.
